IDB and FEMSA Foundation award Water and Sanitation Prize to innovative service operators
Service operators and public officials from Mexico, Nicaragua, Brazil and Colombia were recognized for innovative contributions to water and sanitation by the Inter-American Development Bank and FEMSA Foundation today, in the context of World Water Week congress taking place in the Swedish capital.

Panama will expand coverage and quality of water and sanitation services with IDB loan
Panama will expand coverage and improve the quality of water supply services and sewer systems in cities near its capital and in its central and western provinces with a $40 million loan approved by the Inter-American Development Bank.

El Salvador to improve water services with Spanish grant and IDB support
IDB approved a $44 million program for water and sanitation in El Salvador, backed by a $20 million loan from the IDB and a $24 million grant from the Spanish Cooperation Fund for Water and Sanitation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
