A program with a social focus

The Social Entrepreneurship Program (SEP) is turning 32 years old. Over thirty years dedicated to directly supporting the poorest populations in Latin America and the Caribbean. The SEP, together with its predecessor, the Small Project Financing Program, has funded 608 projects totaling US$ 281 million, benefiting more than 600,000 poor and marginalized people, particularly small farmers, microentrepreneurs, women, indigenous groups and persons with disabilities.
