Yo Amo América
Yo Amo América is an advocacy and social marketing campaign featuring renowned artists as agents of change in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Each artist is a spokesperson for one strategic area in the fight against poverty – including birth registration, early childhood development and access to financial services – in which the IDB is making significant investments to transform the quality of life for millions in the region.
The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness among policymakers about the importance of developing policies and making investments in these priority areas, as well as to promote specific services and information among low-income groups.
Yo Amo America includes a regional media campaign (radio, television, and social media), as well as advocacy and community mobilization activities at country level.
